Third Annual Junior Flatsmasters Tournament Harpoon Harry’s, Fishermen’s Village, Punta Gorda This
Year’s Junior Flatsmasters Tournament will be bigger and better than
ever with festivities starting Thursday night with a free kid’s fishing
Seminar hosted by top Flatsmasters Anglers.
Friday,
June 6th will be the Angler’s Dinner and Meeting, where our
anglers will pick up their Rod and Reel combos, tackle boxes full of
tackle, limited edition T Shirts and Hats. Saturday
June 7th will be tournament day with anglers checking in at
Laishley Park Municipal Marina, first boat will be released at 8:00am.
The action will move to Harpoon Harry’s Dock, where the scales
will open at 12:00 noon. The
Flatsmasters TV Cameras will be rolling as anglers move through the weigh
in line. All anglers must be
back to the weigh in by 2:30pm! The
excitement doesn’t end there though as Harpoon Harry’s will provide a
free anglers buffet for all competitors and their captains. At
3:30pm, The Junior Flatsmasters Awards Ceremony will take place on the
Harpoon Harry’s Stage with all the competitors receiving trophies and
the top anglers in each division receiving additional rewards. The
Junior Flatsmasters Tournament is one of the largest backcountry kids
